Just wanna say I finally got the Hawkmoon last night. It's been my dream gun and what I've been wanting more than any other weapon since the day the game came out in September. My friends all had multiple which always killed me since I use nothing but hand cannons and they mostly all prefer auto rifles. Was running hard Crota with my group for shards and not really hoping for anything since we were stopping before Crota himself. Completed Ir Yut and I pretty much screamed when I saw what drop I got.

It's that so bad though? Take a break, play some other games and come back when the dlc drops. No need to play non-stop until May assuming that happens. Think of it as off-season.

I do play other games already. I really hadn't until The Dark Below came out and the grind to re-level my exotics made the grind much less fun. Then Omnigul, the Wakening, and Siege of the Warmind killed my daily and weekly fun.

Still, waiting until May for content for this game seems like a horrible idea. I was already wondering what I would do in Destiny during the drought before Comet.

In any case I haven't seen that this is confirmed so I won't worry about it. There are a lot of other games to enjoy and I did buy an Xbox One before Christmas that is really collecting dust already lol.

I'm running nightfalls later and I swear to god I'm going to have a shit if I don't get a horn today after all of these people getting their horns and moons and such.

Yes, I've already prepared myself for disappointment again.

Damn, just spent an hour trying to solo HM lamps on my warlock. Between that bothersome jump and the insane ogre at the end, plus some added trolls like "let's spawn the second ogre this time only for no reason!" or "thralls shall touch you on your little rock, like they never did before", it was slowly starting to bring me down.
Finally figured out an easy tactic involving icebreaker, self res and P&T to reliably get me through it, and I got Oversoul Edict as my reward.
Since it's my first primary weapon with elemental damage, I'm quite happy (yeah, I'm not a raid guy...).
Phew, I don't have to solo that phase on hard anymore, at least...
