I've been mainlining factions for shaders since launch and got my first two this week.

I'm in the same boat. I got 2 characters 2 5 last IB and one almost to 4, so I don't feel bad about doing what you did, since I might have to go away this weekend again for wedding planning.

Was this actually an issue?! Were there that many people reporting others for using Thorns and (also most likely) Snipers in Trials??!? Damn, some players need to take a fuckin' chill pill.

For future reference, I always prefer that people address me directly in situations like these. I'm not the slightest bit embarrassed about using everything in the game to my advantage and to the advantage of the community, so no worries there. I still have no idea why people would be critical of this feature, everyone should do what works best for them.

The "shitty" part was Hawkian's language, and we already hashed that out in subsequent posts. I should have made it clearer that my response wasn't directed to you exclusively, I was just on mobile so it was hard to quote multiple people.

Final round is easily the scummiest thing in the game. There are several shotguns on par, and some even better than the FW so it's asinine to complain about that gun in particular now with the DLC. And as for thorn, at least it requires headshots to be most effective. If you're graphing least amount of skill required to lethality, final round would sit far, far apart from any other gun or tactic in PvP.

All that said, using final round or thorn or any other weapon is not cheating. It'd be fucking stupid to argue otherwise. Blame Bungie for imbalance or garbage (FW), not the players.
