Hope for the best EJ.

I had to extend my student visa for 1 unit that suddenly the uni decided to not offer in my final semester, delayed my graduation by 6 months. But things worked out even with the delay, so as long as you keep a positive attitude and keep on top of things, you'll be good.

Time to make a comeback Guardian!

OT26 is ready to roll, minus the Wall of Shame which I'll probably make sooner rather than later. It's looking good, I think people will like it.

If anybody wants to do a little Salvage, I kinda sorta wanna get 5 wins to finish more Grimoire before it goes away for a month...

Nah it's completely fine man.
I was not gonna graduate on time as well but we figured something out and I'll only be 2 weeks behind everyone else now in terms of project work and will graduate in time. It will work out in some way...people in academia are dicks and stuck up honestly. Especially in top universities.

People in academia can be horribly petty & jealous. It's kinda why I left that world and went to the more corporate side of research. Good luck with your situation! Delays always suck (especially if it's out of your control), but I'm sure the PhD program will be understanding to your situation. They came forward to you in the first place, so they must really want you. A couple months is not going to change that. Usually there's not much going on in the summer anyway.

Hope to play some trials with you again in the future!

Yeah, I meant make a gif about it. That wasn't the first Gjallarhorn sharded, nor was it the last. I have 3 fully leveled ones now, one for every character. Don't ask me why I did it. It's a remnant from when we still had to do manual vault-trading.

It does make me wonder how much "Destiny 2" will change. Their current setup implies that we will still see 'loading areas' that hide the instancing of bubbles. I guess the game areas themselves might become bigger/more complex with a higher player cap, but I have a feeling that we won't see a 'true' open world. But maybe Bungie is working on some tricks :)

I am from Slovenia, our Destiny clan is kinda strong, lot's of PVP every day, doing Mercury trips every weekend and we've finished raids always in the first days after release.

a neighbor! nice. any chance you're also fly fishing? me & my dad + friends try to throw in a trip to the Soca (slovenian part of the Isonzo river for the rest of you) every year.

speaking of clans... i'm in dire need of a new one. the tag I'm currently running is pretty much only for nostalgic reasons now, it's the first clan I ever joined for PvP (BF:BC2 days), but the few members that remain are playing all different games now and I'm pretty much the only one left playing Destiny.... and short of quitting because it's no fun alone and I spend more time on DGAF looking for someone to play with me instead of actually playing the game. and I'm not *that* bad, I just lack practice. more and more.
anyone got space for a 30-something physician from austria who refuses to grow up and loves drunk raids and pvp trains?

Thanks to France national day today, I am ready for the reset!
A bit sad to see that the weekly adventures of unstable not finding a Black Hammer are delayed this week, but I never understood how you guys did with the insane hours at which it resets for you... ^^

I miss out on reset-day all the time because of work.

In the evening, most of my XBOX-friends already finished 90% of all the stuff to do. I don't mind though. Got enough stuff already.

Just need those Bones for the Hunter.

Question about matchmaking in crucible. Yesterday I had my best Clash match ever, went 28 (or 29, not sure) kills 6 deaths while most of my team mates were around 1.0 KDR or below. I honestly have no idea how I did it since my current average KDR is 1.1 to 1.4.

That was my first match of the day. The problem is that the following matches I faced teams that basically destroyed us, while being matched with people that averaged 0.4 or 0.5 KDR. I only managed to get around 1.1 KDR average from then on and on one match I even dropped as low as 0.67 when we faced a team of 6 clanmates. I played every match with randoms.

My question is if you get good crucible results does the game then only match you with better foes, or does it also purposefully match you with weaker teammates?

I'm full in vacation swing , think if it wasn't for this thread I would loose what day of the week I'm in lol. Think I have like minutes until the someone realises I'm on remote play lol. Barely have any time to post , mostly lurking now , another week to go...

No confirmation exists formally but it's something a lot of people suspect and have anecdotally observed.
