Oh snap, I didn't realize you could already get above 290+ pre NF buff. Guess I had shit luck of getting exactly 290 drops three times. I assumed that was their locked drop rate. If NF can drop 300+ stuff now that is awesome! How is anyone mad about that? No longer have to rely on raid infusion fodder that never drops.

Well, no one should be mad about that. The potential for a better reward than before is there. Specifically, the chances to luck into an upgrade for your weakest slot, now including ghosts, have been much improved which is a great thing. And I find the disappointment/"still useless" posts to be largely boring.

But they didn't address making NF rewards equivalent in some way to what they provided before TTK. Some kind of guaranteed-if-minor reward, even if you get screwed by the loot roll, would go a long way.

I didn't do it last time it came around (I wasn't really able to get on at all that day), and already have seen multiple confirmations from other folks in the same boat that doing it today doesn't unlock the next step/quest today.
