Anyone still have exotic sword quests and/or Crucible questline to do for the Y2 Triumphs? I'm on those and think I am going to try for them tonight and could use some company.
The Crucible quest line seems like it might take a very very long time for me :0 Ugh looking at it there's basically a minimum requirement of 30 total wins across various gameplay types.

Haha, I may end up just playing IB or helping out with a newbie raid instead. I'd like to get the Y2 triumph considering the number of weeks of playtime I have on this game but I need to turn my inner OCD off and just do what's fun.

If we could link up I'd really enjoy the chance to play with you guys. Mercury would be nice, but just learning some tips to improve my game on a run would be just as beneficial.
I've been to the lighthouse before, and that cat emblem is the only one I'm missing.

Having all of the Trials emblems (and shaders?) sitting in my Emblem Kiosk unobtained forever is always gonna kill me, but I'm just not good enough at the PvP lol. IF the current Trials emblems are 100% going away after next week forever and will be unobtainable I hope that Bungie at least removes them showing up in your Kiosk if it's no longer possible to get them at all and you don't have them. They probably won't though.
Same goes for the Y2 emblems and shaders; 100% my fault but coming back to the game now may prevent me from completing the Y2 triumph, especially since work and other stuff this weekend is super fucked for me and I may literally not get a chance to try to hop on a Warpriest CM train :/.

Hi guys. I had destiny in my ps4 and for a time a loved the game. Then I got tired of the game and I quit. Then I read about this amazing stuff put in the game and I decided give it another try with Iron. My question is too late for me too jump again to the 3 expansions? I have no people to play the Raid tho. What do you say? I want to jump in. I hope I can, my English isn't perfect tho.
The bulk of the work was all Lnkn52, John, and you guys for contributing all of the stories. It's been really emotional putting it all together and I'd never have been able to come anywhere close to doing it along, but I knew the community would come through.

OMG. I cant believe Xur is selling Universal Remote. I have been trying to get it for two months now. So sick of dying during Iron Banner to Universal Remote spammers. i dont get Bungie's loot system. How is it even possible that a guy who has spent 600 hours into this game still doesnt have all the exotics? I am still missing Jade Rabbit. Especially after the 3oC implementation last year.
If they want to make it true RNG then make it true RNG. There is no way guns like Monte Carlo, TLW and Hawkmoon dont have more weight in the loot table. i have them drop like 10 times. Mida has never dropped. Zhalo dropped for the second time just yesterday. Red death has only dropped twice and thats after 200 hours playing TTK.

didn't you get the cat emblem on your first visit to mercury during the doctrine train?
Even if you are late to the party on raiding, there are always people willing to take first timers thru, even if only to teach them the ropes.
The game has changed very much since year 1, and you no longer need to raid to reach max light level. Infact, I would suggest doing as much of the other content as you can until you feel like you are ready to raid. Usually around 300 light you can do normal Kings Fall raid, but newbie raids take people even lower.
Prison of Elders gives out good gear at the higher levels, and crucible is more rewarding.
Strikes have strike specific gear that can go a long way at getting you leveled up, or help you on your journey.
Basically, now is a pretty good time to jump back in.
If you have trouble communicating, you can always ask for native speakers, or if not enough here, find a clan in bungie.net that speak your native language for best results.
Even before that, we are usually pretty nice, even if you dont speak perfect english, we have plenty of english as a second language speakers here that are well versed, and skilled that have little to no problem with doing raids with everyone else.

Personally, I've never played a raid and haven't had an issue with content or gearing up. Nowadays, there's kinda always something to do.
You could likely finish the story within a week or so. It's not really that long, but it's pretty OK.

A group of my friends were just discussing this. It seems ripe for nerfing which is good and bad but mostly bad because when Bungie nerfs they nerf with a vengeance.
It will jump you to level 25 and about 170 light.
Use it if you don't feel like grinding.
Also bare in mind that ROI will include a spark of light that gets you to level 40.

You will get them until your subclass is fully maxed out.
Good tip I learned from Drizz, use it and run all the missions on Hard so you get the extra experience. This will allow you to overpower the weaker enemies in the lower level missions and quickly advance your characters progression at the same time.

Assuming they're on PS4 it could be some sort of regional outage thing maybe? Dunno.
