You're ok as long as its the same raid activity/instance that the monitors were unlocked in, i.e. your friend did not go to orbit. Activated monitors are not maintained through checkpoints if everyone leaves.

It was lastnight, he definitely went to orbit, lol. He's under the assumption though that he can load back into the raid under his checkpoint (with new people) and still acquire the quest. So I'm guessing that's a no then, ha.

Not personally. I have all the exotic pulse rifles aside from the new raid Prime (soon lol) and keep a god roll Hawksaw around for shits and giggles. The Bad JuJu is the only one i come back to because it's reloading/over-penetration/super-build is pretty amazing.
I largely prefer scout firearms like the Suros DIS-43, MIDA, Last Extremity/Hung Jury etc.

I need the G.Chain. Hoping to get that after work with a final boss kill. Id GLADLY infuse the 390 OptimusPrime into that or the Chaos Dogma!!! Legendary over exotic any day. Need that exotic slot for a Spindle or Thunderloard/Sleeper/Horn personally. Though a 390 MIDA... hnnnnng!

I made it to 354 last night. I'm not having any luck with a Ghost shell, though. I ranked up two factions, but they refuse to give me anything.
I'm pretty OK with the artifacts, as I've been having decent ones drop from legendary engrams.

Last Extremity is like Cocytus, Covalence Duty, and I believe the raid scout... not Hung Jury. It's slower rate of fire due to higher impact.

I need me one of those, from 2 boss kills I've gotten 4 scout rifles.
Reposting this here, could really use some advice. Am i on the right track, just need to grind it out? Or am I spinning my wheels here?
Yeah they suddenly went too crazy with the faction branding, it was a lot more subtle in vanilla.
I opened something like 15 faction packages since RoI's release and I haven't gotten a single ghost. It's very rare apparently. Good thing is the raid seems to have a high drop rate.
You should just farm Omnigul until you hit 365 though, she drops everything but artifacts.

JuJu and Hawksaw are all the pulse i need. A god roll, full auto/stability Suros DIS-43, and hopefully the G. Chain and i'm good on main primaries. The MIDA, Khovostov (after it's buffed hopefully) and Hardlight (i honestly love it!) can come play every now and then but i'm an exotic in special or heavy kinda person.
That said... if OptimusPrime did solar or void burn... well, that would be a different story.
So we have to pause the raid because the world is rebooting here soon and we don't wanna be sent to orbit or disconnect when that happens and I have a doctors appointment in 2 hours. So if after I come back if everyone is down we can do the raid again then.
I would just run the septiks strike over and over to get to 365. Boring but assured progress.
I used Xur to bump me up to mostly 350, then grinded heroic strikes. Looked at my history and did about 27 strikes and by the time i was done, i was around 361. Got about 5 skeleton keys during this time as well which helped increased my LL.
Then I did a few more strikes and noticed it rained 364-365 gear once I hit 361.
Once I hit 365, I started to decrypt my exotics and got quite a few 370 stuff from it.
Sitting at 366 now. I'd be higher if it wasn't for my artifact.
Actually Hung Jury isn't the high-impact scout Archetype, there is another class higher impact than HJ.
365 on the dot with my Titan. Haven't run the raid before. You still got slots, or are you looking for EXP and higher LL?

we have higher light levels so it's fine with me as long as you can hold your own through the first 3 bosses you'll get better gear and level up anyways lol but read my above post I have to pause this for now but feel free to pm me on psn

pretty steady hard hitting auto rifle been wrecked by it a couple times in pvp as well. Plus it looks gorgeous fully levelled.

I got a crucible drop of a Cryptic Dragon that is a Hung Jury clone (triple tap, hand laid stock, firefly). Looks like it has more aim assist and I get red dot sights. It's a nice change of pace.

are exotics glitched? I decoded 8 exotics and they were all lower than my highest light level.
It has the best (imo) AR perk: Focused Fire which make its Firefly Perk incredibly easy to proc. I don't have it but it looks like a very fun AR.
Were you at your highest LL at the time of decryption?

High impact, fire slower while ads for extra damage, firefly while ads, and increased agility while equipped. It's a monster.

It's just god tier for almost all situations with the stats and full auto. Such a versatile scout.

This is the last thing I'm missing from the House Judgement primaries. It looks really good, too. I'm still hunting down a Soulstealer's Claw with some kind of a stability perk. Perfect Balance would be ideal.
As for Scout Rifles, I've had a lot of fun with Lethe Noblesse. It was the first SR that felt good and let me go positive in the Crucible. I really didn't like the MIDA.
It's a great SR. Feels wonderful to fire, high impact, solid stability, triple tap and explosive rounds are really fun. Great for sustained fire on boss crit spots and CC.
And yeh, the fallen weapons look really good. This and Lord of Wolves are two of the best unique looking weapons in the game.

I personally preferred this one for my playstyle.2 more bullets in each mag, faster reloading and the stability and range are reversed... range is already so good it never really mattered to me personally but the added stability allowed less muzzle/barrel flip so more shots are on target quicker with less stick movement.

353 is my highest light level. All of them decoded to 353 or 351. So strange that it worked just fine when the expansion first dropped. I'm so sick of doing heroic strikes.
