I guess it's worth viewing if you don't have anything better at the moment.
From memory it starts good and the quality goes steadily down each episodes...
Typical Aoi Shankar stuff you can't expect much but it serves its purpose.

That's a "D"...it's not "AOI," it's "ADI." The typeface just makes the D and O look very similar, but you can compare it to the "O" in "animation."
Anyway, he still sucks.

Not really. The animation quality is pretty bad and it's full of all the usual "modern" writing tropes.

Both the original and the new series has different taste but I like them both. Neither of them are half bad.

I know, the D has a small peak going towards the left that differenciate it from O, but when you are facing a sleazy douchebag like the shankmaster general, every hits count, even the bad faith ones.
Plus of course everyone must have told him it looked like aoi, but he did not change it because he just loves the idea.

Season 1 spits on everything Devil May Cry is about. Even Ninja Theory's reboot was more respectful to Dante's character than whatever Adi Shankar did with this "anime". Fuck this guy for touching Devil May Cry at all.
