Blizzard will also use the BlizzCon event to introduce Diablo 3 to gamers and if the excitement of Blizzard employees is anything to go by, the game will be a big deal. According to a message sent to WoW Guru by former Blizzard employee Chris Hartgraves, Diablo 3 takes place in heaven. Hell is trying to take it over and it is AWESOME looking ... Imagine the brightness of heaven being taken over by the darkness of hell ... Imagine WoW but in a Diablo world in amount of size and playability ... Also, guild housing is available in this game for those of you who know about it. They should have a gameplay demo to show at BlizzCon.

Somehow I doubt this is real, but we'll see I suppose.

Considering the source is WoW Guru who leaked the most ridiculously stupid fake specs for the WoW expansion last week. Remember the one with the 100 man raid on the Icecrown? :lol

current word is that d3 will focus on the strife between the various guilds/races - necromancer versus paladins, Saber Cats versus the desert cities, etc. there will be less of a focus on "the evil dark corrupting corruptions of the dark evil darkness", and more on the politics that make up the world. that's not to say we won't see a lot of monsters (many apparently new) and the D-man himself, but the game world will be a lot more dynamic this time around.

a lot of the game will apparently be like Act V from Diablo 2 (aka the Lord of Destruction part), where you'll encounter NPC allies in the midst of battle that you can aid or ignore. supposedly, you will also be able to join/encounter raiding parties in dungeons.
