Supposedly, the destruction of their infrastructure and the disbanding of the army had NOTHING to do with the armed resistance they are having right now.

Now, I don't point the finger just at the US, but to absolve yourself of all blame by saying its because their old leader was a brutal dictator, and not admitting to any mistakes or racial tensions that have existed for thousands of years is just a bit ignorant...
