I disagree greatly. Three of the titles on the list are fairly new. There's some crap, but it's not like you have to ask for it. ^_^

They could have just issued an apology and done nothing and this would likely not even have any impact at all on their sales. It would just be a minor incident that would be quickly forgotten.

Well i got one of the discs so ill give it a try then, i wouldnt mind getting one of those games. I'm just glad i put all my saves on my HDD.

Yeah, I got the disc in the mail too, maybe I'll try it. Maybe I should put some dummy data on a blank memory card first and see if it erases it though.

Note that that says you only have to send the disk, they'll take your word on whether or not your memory card got fucked.

i received the other disc w/ mgs3, pop2, etc. in it - however the funny thing is that none of the games ever load. everytime i select a game and get past the control scheme, the ps2 just hangs.

anyone know of the disc i am talking about?

I really like Wild Arms 3... It had good art direction and really nice music. I (and may on this board) was not a fan of Sly2. The levels were all very short and simplistic...

Wild ARMs 3 is slow, slow slow. You will be like "god when does this ever pick up", but unfortunately it really doesn't.

If you have a modded system, you sometimes have to disable the mod for demo disks.

no mods here... i do take my mem card out of the ps2 just incase... my mem card has updated ps2 dvd drivers if that has any relevance...

maybe my disc is just screwed

p.s. never had any dirty disc or read errors or anything... only the demo disc is screwed
