did you ever play Jurassic Park on the SNES with a mouse?

I did. don't know why I randomly remembered this.

it was rad that it supported a mouse because Jurassic Park would switch to FPS mode when you entered a building. if you had the SNES mouse, you could use it to play. pretty neat considering the game came out in 1993.

Edit:

Since OP neglected us, some footage

Ah yes, Dinosaurs ate my Neighbours, with a touch of Wolfenstein 3D. I found it incredibly difficult, and could only imagine the mouse was poorly implemented.

I had it. I used it. It was interesting at first, but the controller was a way better option, so only tried it a few times. It was a fun game. The ending was absolutely nothing, though. As a kid I felt it was not worth the effort and never played it again after I finally beat it the first time.

I loved the game, but it was definitely a much better experience overall with the controller. I would just play the FPS sections with a mouse now and then as it was a neat experience.

the Wolfenstein comparison is spot on, graphics were really similar.

it did feel like you were getting two games in one given how dramatically different the outside vs indoor sections played

Never with a mouse, but I played the crap out of that game. When I found the hidden cave in the cliffs with all the extra lives, game changer.

I don't remember trying it, but I think I would have. I had mario paint the christmas it came out, and I know I rented jurassic park. Think I would have tried it but I have no recollection of that.

Had forgot about those games. Recalled there's a Steam collection

Bought them now from a key site off GG deals for $10

Thanks
