Somebody recently posted a review of a 3rd party controller from years ago that looked remarkably similar and the review gave it a 9.5 or 10 for ergonomics, saying it was wonderfully comfortable, so I'm not too worried if function comes before form.
At the worst, I'll do what I did for XBox this gen, but reversed. Instead of buying and adapter to use my DS2 on XBox, I'll buy an adapter to use the X360 controller on PS3.
