Sorry for the bump, and the 3 year old quote, but I rewatched season 2 JAP dub and it seems Taichi just didn't have feelings for Sora. He cared for her as a childhood friend and that about it.

Oh and I finished Savers. Its better than I expected, but I wished they would have made the later saga a bit longer. I just love these guys:

Tamers and adventure 01 are still my favorite. Also thinking about it, Taichi (V-tamer) and Takato had OP digimons. Their first ultimate(mega) evolution are Royal Knights right away.

Eh I don't mind them not giving every Royal Knight a spotlight. The 2nd opening confused the hell out of me seeing (if you look close enough) Gallantmon, Magnamon and Omnimon.

I know. I was hyped to see Omegamon wreck some fools when I saw that opening. But a lot of the RK got so little screen time.

Also on a random note, is it just me, or are the child digimons in Savers freaking huuge?

I'm surprised I've put over fifty hours into Digimon World 2. I can't remember the last time I felt so conflicted about a game. On one hand I think it's pretty fun raising cool digimon and defeating bosses with my power team. Then on the other hand, the dungeons are grueling and there's so much grinding to do because ultimate to mega requires so much xp. Furthermore, dungeons are filled with traps, most of which require specific items to remove which take up limited space, there's so much menu navigation and the game requires a guide in order to have an idea of what you're getting evolution-wise. Oh and the experience point cap which requires DNA digivolving and all that fun stuff.

That's a lot of negative points, but the game is still weirdly fun. I suppose having it on my psp helps. I can listen to stand-up comedy specials while level grinding.

While I think having a larger assortment of digimon to obtain is a huge improvement over DW1, the lack of charm that the first game had is a huge disappointment. I wonder if DW3 is worth trying once I finish the second?

I don't really care for any of his evolutions in Savers. Geogreymon looks bad because of the tiny shoulders and spikes, Risegreymon looks bad because of how skinny he is, and Shinegreymon looks ok but besides the end of his tail he looks pretty generic.

You take that back! He's much better than beerbellyGreymon!

Could someone tell me the deal with Digivices? Are they more than just virtual pets that can connect and battle at this point? I saw the listing for the 15th anniversary Digivice that Bandai Premium is putting out for ¥10k. I can't wrap my head around that price.
