Digital auido output for Revolution?

goomba

The Gamecube (unlike the xbox and ps2), lacked a digital audio output solution.

Surely the Revolution will support digital audio output??.....

It HAS to have a digital audio output.

Revolution can play DVD's, therefore, a digital output is needed for Dolby Digital and DTS.

They can be downsampled to stereo, then played through a Pro Logic II receiver. Make it happen Nintendo. :lol

I want to say that I don't care..

but I do care for sound A LOT.. maybe even more than the picture.

in less than a year I'll be getting a KICKASS LCD that I'll connect all my shit to it.. PC/consoles/DVD

I already have a good surround system, but its only 5.1, and I don't think getting a decent surround system will cost as much as a new TV.. hey... why I'm going WAAAAAAAAY OT :P ...

anyway.. digital output is a must, cuz almost everyone I know has a surround system in his room/house, its not like HDTVs or something

Man, that would be the most awful thing ever.

DVD playback on Nintendo Revolution is powered by Dolby Laboratories' Pro Logic II 4-channel Surround Sound!
