Not gonna lie, I liked what I saw.

Iconic Japanese voice actors returning to voice iconic Final Fantasy characters (and being REALLY good at it), casual "real world" outfits, urban setting. - This game is a pure fanservice, and I like it for that.

I would prefer if this came on PC as well, but iOS / Android is fine for me as well.

3v3 PvP Gacha trash. Compete against another team to take down the boss.

You can already see the gacha with the characters at 0:30 with them having R(Rare) SR(Super Rare) and UR(Ultra Rare) already.

Just play Nikke: Goddess of Victory lol.

The inclusion of Gaia from XIV is so out of place.

I like how their idea of hype is to show silhouettes of unreleased gatcha characters, which, if going by the art style of the currently roster, will be almost unrecognizable. If Rinoa hadn't been doing that had gesture, I woulda not guessed it was her. I see Lightning and Cloud (who looks like Sora) and I literally cannot identify the other characters.

Man a new proper Dissidia like the ones on PSP with cool production values on modern systems would be awesome.

For mobile gaming to really take off for traditional gaming people need to start making docks.

But I'll tell you why that hasn't happen and won't happen for phones.
People are addicted to their phones they can't put them down. No one wants to put their phone in a dock to play a game and not have access to their phone.

iPads maybe... Apple TV would easily be way to go.. but not phones.

IMO the best approach to get "traditional players" to play mobile games has been just putting them on PC/Consoles and making them mechanically complex enough to be enjoyable on a controller.

Chinese devs have been crushing it with stuff like Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves.
I don't really play these sort of games, but if Square made something like a FF themed Wuthering Waves and made it available on Ps5 I'd be totally in.
