  • Title is indeed Divinity, it's a new entry in the Divinity franchise but not Divinity: Original Sin 3
  • Larian's largest game to date and big return to their roots
  • Takes a different direction from previous entries; positioned as an entry point for new players post-BG3 success.
  • No specific gameplay, platforms, or release date/window announced yet

Damn. Hell of a trailer.

Can't wait!

That target render looks so good and brutal. It might be cross gen but will still be launch maybe around the ps6 window.
what made you think its a target render? its basically a cgi trailer like the witcher3 short flicks or the bg3 intro

It's Larian, trailer has dark vibes that build intrigue given Divinity being more light-hearted...so I'm in.

Edit: This is what Veilguard should've been when they first showed it, instead we got that cartoon-ish slop instead.

It's probably going to take years though and it's bigger than BG3!

We won't see it till like 2029, will we? 😔

I'm a patient man, and they have been delivering banger after banger since Original Sin 1.

Their games are also some of the most replayable RPGs on the planet, so I'll just do another run of each by then to bide my time.

Revealed nothing... Geoff said it's their biggest game? Thought they didn't wanna do more Baldur's Gate cos they didn't wanna do more on that scale and scope right away. Maybe it'll be scaled back in other ways, less in your face cut scenes, options, characters, sex, expand macro level, not micro?

have the people saying divinity is light hearted not played divine divinity?

Original sin was very different from the old divinity games. This definitely feels like it's nodding to those a bit.

Fantastic trailer! Gruesome and really set the tone.

I'm guessing it will be a CRPG? Not the biggest fan of the genre, but might give it a chance.
