Most of my friends are cool. We see eachother when we've got time and we're cool with that. But I've got one that I almost feel obligated to see every so often. She's cool and all, but sometimes I just feel like I'm fulfilling my "hanging out" quota when I'm out with her. She likes to talk and talk and I'm usually left nodding and saying "mmhmm." We'll have some pretty good music conversations, but I still don't feel like she's not at the same level as me when it comes to...a lot of things. And I don't mean that to sound bad 'cause lord knows I'm not a genius, but I just don't think she understands a lot of the stuff I talk about. Eh...mostly annoyed 'cause it feels like she tries to make me feel bad if I don't hang out with her. But yeah, anyone else have stories of annoying friends?

*cue "they're not really your friend" responses*

This one time I was hanging out by my locker at school talking to my friend Slater. Then this nerdy weasely kid I've known since like 6th grade came up and started talking about some bullshit. He totally cramped my style.

I hate that kid, fucking Screech.

I was just thinking about making a topic on some really annoying "friend" - but it wasn't really topic worthy. He gives nicknames to EVERYONE and mine happens to be "Twinkie..." and then the only other things he'll say to me are "Twinkie tool...hostess..where's the cream filling...that's the stuff...hostess...bad... VERY BAD! *jibberish* "

It's funny for a few seconds and then it's like shut up already! But I guess lately all of my friends have been annoying. Although they don't mention anything about it I can tell they are pissed that I never go out to play football with them anymore, I don't show up at the weightroom, I don't really hang out with them anymore outside of school (even though they all live around the block or on it) At least in the last week or so we haven't really done anything - and when we do it's just boring. I'd much rather sit at home, listen to music, watch movies, workout on my own, play guitar, go on internet by myself.

I have a friend who spells at a 3rd Grade Level, is nothing but a follower, and is wasting away his university education that he has no hope in hell of using, as he has no public speaking skills and wants to be a lawyer.

Man, it annoys me.

Otherwise, I get easily annoyed, but don't have too many problems.

Friends who need to talk all the time are annoying as fuck. Most of the time I dont talk to my friends all week. Who the fuck has time for friends during the work week?

I've got a lot annoying "friends".

My male friends call me names and jokingly grope me. My female friends are alright but they can be bitches sometimes.

Don't worry they will probably disappear by the time you enter college. If you are lucky enough to go live on/near campus in an area with cheap housing, you'll be able to escape from people like them. Maybe you hang around them because that's what you're used to and aren't accustomed to walking or eating alone. I suggest you keep someone to spot you though.

We've got one guy in our group that tends to be loud(er) and (more) obnoxious (than the rest of us). When we go out drinking, he gets grabby with all the girls. He's still in college party mode, and it just dosn't mesh with the 'chill bar' mentality most of us have on the weekends.

Oh, and if it makes a difference, he was a theater major.

My friends are cool, but a couple 'chums' at school piss me off. I do my best not to snub anyone that speaks to me, so now I've got some people that treat me as friends that I really couldn't care less for. One guy is so fucking loud and obnoxious. It's gotten to the point where I just let him ramble on while I study or whatever, without responding, but pretty soon I'm going to have to tell him to get lost. Rather not, though.

Theres this really annoying kid I know. He's alright in small doses, but any longer and I want to punch him in the face. He shows up at my place without calling. I swear, thats enough to piss me off but it gets worse. Well for one he has terrible BO. Terrible eating manners too. I can't stand going anywhere in public with him because he's loud and always draws attention, so I usually walk away really fast. Then he's trying to show me his hentai collection. What the fuck man? Theres real porn out there ya know. I remember I told him I was going to the movies with my girlfriend and he felt he needed to tag along. He's getting closer and closer to an ass kicking. I would never let this guy hang with my other friends no way in a million years. Whenever he shows up at my house now I just let him knock until he goes away.

Yeah, I'm sure you're right, however I don't really want them to just disappear. One of them has been my friends since we were both 4.

EDIT: I think the main cause for them being annoying is when a new friend gets in the group and then everyone tries to impress him/her and jokes around about you (even though it is all in good fun)

I'm 23 and in third year university. :p I drive to another city every day just to go to school. I see this friend about once or twice a month, which isn't too bad, but, as bad as it may sound, I wouldn't be too affected if we never spoke again. She's just not a very crucial part of my life at all but seems clingy with friends and tries to force friendships. I've talked with her about that a little and she didn't take it well. Maybe she thinks she's being normal because no one really calls her on anything. At the same time, she hasn't given me a reason NOT to be her friend, so I'm in a tough spot where I'll keep hanging out with her and possibly waiting for something to happen so I'll have a valid reason not to see her anymore. I'm horrible, I know. :(

Edit: And you totally intended that response to be for someone else. Whoops!
