Yep for 2 more years. I bought a bunch of 3 month ultimate cards for $60 after that price increase announcement. If they don't have a better tier option than current ultimate in 2 years than I am done. All we really need is one tier that doesn't include Fortnite crew and Ubisoft classics for $20-$22 bucks. stop bundling in shit we don't need.
 
I just got 3 months free for my Legion Go 2, the only game that I am playing is Ninja Gaiden 4, nothing else on there interests me. Metphor, Pirate Yakuza and Expedition 33 I already own.
 
Nope. I wait until
A: there's a few games on there I want to play and
B: I have plenty of spare time

I then purchase one month of PC Game Pass, cancel it in My Account, and focus on those games over those 3/4 weeks.
I did this last year with Indiana Jones & The Great Circle and DOOM Eternal.
 
Yeah, for a few more months. But at the regular price, they can fuck off. As far as I know, though, there are still conversion tricks and similar methods that make it significantly cheaper.
 
No. It was worth it when it was $10-15. No way I'm paying 30 plus. The only sub I can justify is GFN. That will likely get extended again when it runs out next month.
 
Nope. I had it from Nov 2020 to Nov 2023 on the 3 year conversion deal. Even at about $6 a month, there were still months that I thought I wasn't getting value from it.
 
I wanted to buy it for pc but they asked me for my address and I didn't want to give it to them. Lol when I got my pc I had it for one month but the xbox app didn't work and I couldn't use it.

Yeah, I tried it for the first time last year when Avowed came out for a free month on PC - when I realized it was only 12 bucks, I let it stay on for the convenience of dabbling in whatever they were releasing. Almost 20 is another deal though and I feel like for the use I give it is too much, thus I cancelled. Can't say how long I would have stayed subbed for 12, but I felt that was a very attractive price and one I could let go on for quite some time.
 
No i don't, i prefer to buy and own my games and if they tell me i don't own them i don't buy their new ones, there not that good anyway at the moment lol.

No, I don't play multiplayer games.

I have subbed in the past, back when it was a great deal, but under the new pricing structure, I am not interested.
 
Subbed to Gamepass Ultimate at $11 month conversion rate until mid 2027. I am considering getting the Xbox Credit Card and simply using the cash /points back on that towards Gamepass and game purchases.

As long as conversion exists up to $22 month, I will stay subbed. I think it only makes sense at $30 month if MS was offering 4k/120 streaming via Magnus hardware.

There's always Premium tier also if you don't mind waiting for games rather than Day 1.
 
Stacked up on cheap codes for a couple of years.

Always something there to keep me entertained between that and the steam sales.

Let my sub run out some six months. Not enough games of decent quality to justify the cost. For the odd couple of games I did want, I'd still purchase them outright on Steam due to how shit the MS app/store is.

I also don't play online multiplayer, so I also haven't had PS+ for a long time.
 
never got rid of it. It's still a good value for me -- but I also understand the folks who it doesn't work for.
 
Shitting on Gamepass is the most bourgeoisie silver spoon shit ever, easy to do if you have the means to constantly accumulate or have big (legit or illicit) diverse collections of titles already in hand.

Imagine someone on a console who is passionate about the hobby who can only afford like one or two games a year, what kind of value this represents to them. Without Gamepass you consign them to the depths of the f2p GaaS brainrot safety obsessed manipulative horror currently eating away at everything cool that doesn't really create gamers.

Instead of telling them to go on constant dumpster dives for sales you present them something they'd never be able to personally afford otherwise.

I bet there's loads of people like that.

If you're a die hard Sony fan it's equally as stupid to shit on Gamepass because it aims to create people actually interested in games, not raised-by f2p GaaS drones who won't care about Playstation's real games either.

Yes, I just like the idea of having new games popping up that I would not try otherwise.
Adulthood does not allow me to keep up with the games sa dly, but as a teenager I would have played the shit out of it
 
Nope, zero interest. I really don't like subscription services, for me it just devalues the games the same way piracy did for me when I was young. With so much to choose from, I don't value anything.

I prefer to just buy the games I'm really, really interested in. The I invest the time too since I've invested money. I want to feel some kind of ownership even it's a bit.. Imaginative 😅
