I bought a Belkin VideoBus II off of eBay for $0.99. Considering it retails for $99, I considered it a good deal. It doesn't come with the included software though, but I was able to get the drivers from Belkin's website.
I remember that it works with Windows Movie Maker as well. I plug my PS2 into this thing, load Windows Movie Maker, lo' and behold, Viewtiful Joe displays, the controls are responsive and at a playable rate! I'm even able to record videos of all the ass-kicking!
The problem is, it only displays through the recording window which isn't resizable. SO, what I was wondering, is there any free software out there that I might be able to use with this thing? I mean like, software that will allow you view feed from something like a TV, VCR, camrecorder, DVD player, etc. on your PC and allows you to resize the window, etc.
It has a port for s-video so I wonder if I didn't use the RCA cables that came with PS2, but an s-video one, would I get improved quality. I don't have my PS2 hooked up to my TV, but my monitor instead via VGA box.
