Yeah identity conservation is a key factor for me. I only change my avatar if and when I'm truly sick of the old one and have a found a suitable long term replacement. Or if I'm forced to change my avatar due to circumstances.
On other boards I used to change my avatar on a whim. Whatever was the flavour of the month, but I've been here for so long and recognize how your avatar really factors into your identity om GAF. Which is why I want to maintain avatar recognizability.
Hm, I know your username. It's the guy who always say that he doesn't take good photo but then we all see his photo and wonder what he's talking about.
