I'm at my wits ends here, haha.
I've been playing the Super Famicom cartridge for about 7 hours now, and I'm utterly stuck. I don't think I'm having language barrier issues with the game. I'm understanding what people are telling me, I'm just not seeing where to go at all. I picked Aisha as my lead, went through the first bits with ease, then I was dumped in a Harem. I talked with characters, Jamil showed up, beat the guy there (I was a bit fuzzy on the stuff happening there) and it dumped me out into South Estameel. So I had two characters now, I fought the thieves in the town for a while, got enough money to go to North Estameel by boat, found Miriam in the bar, got her and now have been going through the sewers between the North and South parts of the town leveling up, getting cash and slowly equipping my 3 characters. I'd explore elsewhere but you can't. I'd assume you get points on the map to visit by discovering missions or quests from talking to people, but no one has given me anything.
So that's what I've accomplished.

But my main question is, has anyone seen a FAQ, walkthrough, or anything for this damn game? I can't find shit. Even a little push in any direction would let me do something in this game.

Just kidding. Most people get lost at some point during the game ... like, the times they're playing. Romancing SaGa clubs baby seals.

I wouldn't know about a translation, I'm playing the original Japanese cart (sitting in my Super Famicom complete with its 3 foot controller cable. OMG HARDCORE.)

Its not so much that I'm lost, as that the game isn't letting me go anywhere.

And I guess I could check the GameFAQs message boards, but out of the three Romancing SaGas, the first one only has a bit of a translation guide for it, and there's no walkthroughs or anything I can find on the net.

There's a PS2 remake coming out in japan next month. Let's hope it comes here.
