Does PSP need a converter or adapter

I have a US PSP, but I have a 7 hour layover in Amsterdam! Will I need a converter or adapter to charge my PSP... also, do you think they'll have american plugs there?

Most likely will need to charge...what are you gonna be doing on the psp?

if its just mpeg4 watchin, you should get all 7 hours on medium brightness.

You'll need an adaptor or converter. Go to Radio Shack and specify that it's for a PSP. If you're not sure about their advice, take your charger with you, it should have the voltage specs on it somewhere, and buy an adaptor that's strong enough.

You DON"T need a converter. The PSP AC adapter adjusts to European voltage automatically. You may not even need a plug adapter, since most airport/hotel facilities accomodate US plugs. But it porbably is a good idea to pick one up just in case. Radio Shack will not have them. You'll need to go Fry's or a similar electronics store.

Won't he just need a plug-head adaptor due to the PSP's charger having a built in stepdown?

I thought so too

yep! just need the 'physical' conversion from US to european plug. or maybe in the hotel they have a cable to replace that between charger and wall plug (razors use these)
