Calling all Xbox 360 owners, does Terminator 2 Extreme Edition (i believe it is an HD version) play on Xbox 360???

If by HD you mean superbit it should right? I'm pretty sure my roomates worked in the regular xbox but take my word with a grain of salt I'm pretty much clueless and could be mistaken.

The T2 extreme edition is an actual HD WMV version of the theatrical release on a second disk.

I'd hate to guess as to why it doesn't work, but its probably a combination of the movie being digitally protected and expecting to run on InterVideo.

-You can't play content on a DVD disc other then DVD Video
-Superbit should work fine, they just choose the higher sample rate for the movie
-Terminator has built in DRM, so I don't think you can stream it with Media Center either

I got it to work once through Media Player...If memory serves, you first have to download the liscense through InterVideo and then its simply a matter of loading the files in order as a playlist in Media Player. Perhaps that would be a window into playing it on the 360???

TO ALL:
Ok, let me get this straight; can Xbox 360 play HD-DVD movies and are there any out now? Is Terminator 2 EE and HD version of the movie?

Firstly, there is only 1 official HD movie released (that I'm aware of), and that is the second disc of the T2:EE (WMV version). Secondly, the Xbox360 will not play HD video content through the DVD drive. I believe it is limited through only streaming from a Media Center PC (and you need a fast network connection to do that -ie. wired or "A" protocol). And as was stated earlier, the wmv version of T2 cannot be streamed due to copyright protections. Got it?

According to MS' website, Titanic special edition has a WMV-HD version! I didn't know that...

Edit: Perhaps I spoke a bit too soon...it does have some HD content though but probably not the whole film...
