Does the Momo Force Racing wheel work with GT4 ?

Ryudo

My opinion? USED.
I just read a review from FiringSquad and they said support has been taken out ? Any truth to this ?

This is a major deal for me, as i dont want to shell out more cash for a wheel from the same bloody company when i already think the one i got is the best ever (nice big ass metal momo).

good question. i was planning on using my old red logitech momo force wheel as well. i was just thinking about this today also. i spent a lot of time with my wheel and love it (if you're into Papyrus' Nascar sims I am the guy who wrote the guide for the wheel settings).

anyhow, if they took it out, that would suck.

Alpha, Gek, SolidSnakeX any confirmation ?

FS took off 10% of the review score just because of this, but they werent clear on whether it was the import or us version. Its funny cause the 900 degree wheel probably wont even be sold here in OZ, so if they cut out logitech support it would be one hell of a nutt kick.

Don't they sell the regular Logitech Force there? I remember reading a FS article ages ago about the GT4 Prologue not supporting Momo, but working with the old PS2 Logitech Force (Obviosuly different than the Pro). Still BS if true (Since it would occur intentionally).

They sell the Driving Force Pro here, in oz. I've got one sitting right beside me, ready for GT4.

Well, the 900 degree wheel is pretty hard to get hold of in Europe, at least according to retail.

And I would never buy one if I already had a Momo ready for action.

Luckily I sold my Momo along with my pc a year ago, so I have a Driving Force Pro - also waiting for GT4...

But for my review, I'd also like to know if there is any truth to these rumours. Thanks!

I'm dissapointed that all cars will be locked at 900 degrees, rather than have them vary with the car; racing cars have small tighter turning radius, where normal civics are out at 900 degrees.
