Dog run over

So today I went out to the park with my dog for a run and on my way back (driving) I noticed this bitch next to me driving real close so I was getting pretty angry. So at a stop light I decided to drive either ahead or behind her just in case. So I'm ahead of her when I see a school xing to slow down, so of course I slow down a whole block ahead of time but this bitch keeps going about 40 mph on a 30 mph zone then for the xing its 20 or 15 cant remember.
Anyway out of nowhere these two dogs jump out of nowhere so I managed to stop in time and the lady....slows down, hits a dog, then accelerates and runs the poor dog over with the front right and back tires. Had one of the dogs not been in my way I would have chased her down since I didn't manage to get her license plate # down. So I just get out called 911 since the dog was still breathing and decided to wait for animal peoplel. His other dog buddy just stayed next to him the whole time. Well I waited for an hour and no one showed up. Of course...dog died =(
Has anyone else ever witnessed something like this?
Ive also witnessed one of my cats get run over a long time ago, and of course no one stops for cats.

They teach you in driving ed to keep going rather than brake suddenly/severally for dogs/cats and end up causing an accident. Might apply to this situation.....

yea but the fact that this lady acctually stopped, then accelerated again was messed up. I mean sure she could have hit the dog the first time and found a way to go AROUND but noo she just keeps running it over I mean its a freakin dog screw what drivers ed teachs. If this occured on a highway or speed limits above 40 then ok I understand but there was a school cross thing and the fact that she didnt even slow down for that pissed me off.

That's awful. Guess it wasn't worth the 911 guys' time to show up. Are they supposed to call animal people? Maybe those guys are short-staffed.

Yeah they called them for me but no one ever showed.

When faced with the option of chasing her down, you should have looked to the other dog and muttered reluctantly - "Sorry my four legged friend, you must give your life to avenge your brother". All would watch as you shared a brief but touching moment in time between man and dog...

...before of course you run the other dog over, hunt the bitch down and steer her towards the nearest set of cliffs... abandoning your vehicle as you both approach the precipice of doom, you jump onto hers, smashing through the passenger side window, kicking her in the face, before pulling out a few fuses from underneath the dash. With the cars remaining momentum you manage to steer the vehicle and send it careering over the edge. Just when everyone thinks you're dead, your hand grasps the blades of grass, your fingers etching themselves into the ground with a firm grip. Your other hand and your face emerge, and with a smile you give everyone a thumbs up.

VICTORY! Everyone turns to go back into town and party. Naturally, you begin to follow when suddenly a hesitance washes over you. You look to the heavens and see our two four legged friends playing in a meadow of plush chew toys, under a rainbow that rains doggy treats from beyond the ether of it's mysterious hues.

Another thumbs up to those guys and you're back off into town to party. The world is saved!

Not to make light of the situation of course. It's pretty horrible.

Yeah, she sounds like she really just likes to obey rules. Nothing wrong with that!

Whoa......that was awesome..

[on topic] That is the worst thing I've heard all day....I've never seen a dog killed like that....don't worry that lady will get hers sooner or later.

A week ago I was walking down a road from work and spotted a doe who was hit by a car. She had lacerations and her eyes were red, later when she rolled over to die, I saw that one of her legs was bent in an O shape. Long emotionally tiring story short. I waited 2 hours with the deer, after calling the emergency animal help line, and literally watched as it took it's last gasping breath. This animal died a long excrutiating death. I call up the emergancy animal help line and it turns out the trooper who was supposed to come help "could not find me" and cancelled the call without notifying me (they had my number and good instructions). I know how you feel. I don't think I could take actually seeing the animal get hit and then seeing inaction, that would just tear me apart more then this did. And this had done quite a number on me.

I saw a cat get run over once. It was pretty horrible. It was titching and flopping all over the ground until a road maintainece guy came and put it out of it's misery with his shovel. Sorry you had to experience that.

Fuck, that totally sucks man. Especially since you couldn't get her license. :(

It would've been awesome to see that bitch pay for what she did. But chances are she's kicking herself in the ass right now, and telling all her friends how she freaked and just hit the gas and kept going.

I hope she suffers!

saw a kitten fall from a 6th story balcony and die in front of me. that was pretty brutal. because the poor thing didnt die right away, and i was only about 8 years old and had no idea what to do.
in school while smoking with friends on the terrace, a bird just got slammed onto the main building by a speedy wind, and died instantly and fell near us. that, was just unexpected.

One night I was driving home and saw what looked like a plastic bag flapping in the wind and a car stopped ahead of it about 50 ft. I'm thinking to myself, "Hmm, that bag must've fell out of the car." So I continue driving, but slow down to avoid hitting the plastic bag. As I get closer, I notice that it's actually a cat that's going batshit insane all twitching and flopping around very, very rapidly. There's hardly any traffic, so I throw on my hazards and come to a stop. The damn thing flopped under my car! I look back to make sure there are no cars coming and I throw it in reverse. Luckily I didn't run over the cat, but after I backed up it wasn't moving anymore.

I'm not a cat person (in fact, they are the devil!), but damn that was sad. I had no idea they spazzed out like that. :-(

Hehe at school in one of the glass pedways, there's dust marks all over the glass that look like little angels.

Really, those are created when birds fly into the glass :lol
