Folks better start taking Donald Trump seriously. He could actually win it all. By no means am I an supporter of his, or for any Republican, but it's obvious to notice he really tapped into America's anger. Everyone is disgusted with Washington. I'm talking from both sides of the political spectrum. I've long believed Hillary is a shoe in to the White House, but it's looking like history is repeating itself.....her losing to an candidate that has ignited the nation. Hillary could very well lose to Trump.

Ignited the nation? He is only liked by some Republicans, and it remains to be seen whether the majority of them will support him. His unfavorable ratings are high, and as candidates drop out most support likely won't go to him. And what evidence is there that Democrats are going to support him? Because they are 'fed up with Washington'? He's spouting far right nonsense that no liberal is going to support.

America has gotten so good at being sarcastic, that no one even notices it.

All that cheering when Trump says something stupid (aka everything)? Sarcasm.

All the people choosing him in the polls?
Citizen: "Yeah, i´d totally vote for Trump....." Poll-Agent "Thank you for participating". Trump +1

Unless, those people are serious..... Nah, impossible.

Trump for leader of the free world

You're not seeing what I'm seeing. Even so called "liberal media" is casting him in an positive light. I have plenty of friends liking what Trump is saying, and they're all registered Democrats. This is happening while Hillary is super quiet. It's still early, but Trump IS the story during this election, so far. He has all the energy in the arena.

We could go off the people you know, or we could look at his unfavourables in scientific polls, then factor in his alienation of hispanics, the fact that Hillary will clean up with female voters, and then remember that Romney got 62% of the white male vote and still lost - the Republicans are almost mathematically eliminated from the start without getting more of the non-white vote.

Trump is riding on a voting niche within the context of the Republican primary right now, but he has zero chance in a general.

They contemplate a race with 17 candidates, but several candidates will drop out before Iowa and several more will drop out before the other states vote.

The main reason why I dont take this seriously and am just enjoying the ride. The rest of the vote is splintered in so many and many candidates are very similar to the others. Trump isnt going to be their second choice, one of the ideologically similar candidates will be.

What do Australians think of Donald Trump?

We love him, mostly from watching The Apprentice TV !
We even have our own celebrity The Apprentice, such was the success of Donald Trump's show.

He's like a massive rock star in business terms down here !

Except in the Murdoch newspaper ,The Australian, which has slamed him hard in his presidential campaign so far.

The only reason trump could possibly win is by getting people to use their vote as a novelty one just to see what will happen.

It will be scary if he gets out of the primaries.

But for now I'm enjoying it.

Rasmussen. I think They successfully predicted our president Romney.
Yeah, they got taken off the aggregators because they're not trustworthy- Rasmussen is the polling place specifically devoted to doing Karl Rove math. They have a niche and are serving them what they want to hear.
