Just downloaded this today to play during a work break. It's really good. A slightly faster paced Doom with oldschool VGA-like graphics. Smooth controls, gunplay feels good. It has some modern trappings like checkpoints. Metal soundtrack. I checked on steam and it has an overwhelmingly positive review score.

I don't usually advertise games but I had never heard of this before and couldn't believe how good it was.

I tried it few days ago... and I don't like it at all.
Slightly faster Doom? It's not a combat puzzle at all.
Soundtrack is very typical as well. I love my old school pc games but most of this new stuff don't capture any of it. This one looked good on videos but I don't like playing it

Game is great, especially if you're into retro FPS at all. Couldn't agree more, give it a whirl. Especially if you have Game Pass.

Can confirm. 'Prodeus' is one of the best shooters of the last few years, and if you care at all about squeezing a trigger and watching some hideous monster's face exploding in a shower of blood, skull, and chunks of brain, you owe it to yourself and your family to play as much of this game as you legally can. Preferably while nude.

Tried this a couple days ago.

Insanely fun retro FPS. Does what it says on the tin, no frills, just pure fast paced gameplay. Really fun and a recommended download if you have Game Pass.

Yeah can confirm the game is solid. The built in community map browser is also a great addition and goes a long way for extra content/replay.

H*ck yeah! Prodeus looks incredible, just my type of game. I've been following it's development since it was announced.

I've been loving this resurgence of old school type shooters... but with new twists and even faster gameplay. DUSK was an incredible experience when it came out, and I need to get into Amid Evil. I will buy Prodeus soon and support the devs!

Game is so awesome. Also if you dig this, be sure to check out Dusk and Amid Evil. You can buy them as a package deal on Steam right now for cheap and they are both 2 of the best first person shooters I've ever played
