I'm getting a Resident Evil vibe and not the Aliens vibe that I SHOULD be getting.

Aliens rocks, this movie should fucking look and feel like Aliens and for some reason its not.
 
Any idea if they're aiming for an R, or (hell forbid) a PG/PG-13?

The vibe I'm getting is that it'll probably be PG13 in the end. Oh well if I could sit through AvP I can probably sit through this as well.

It's not looking very 'Doom' at this point. The imp costume is sweet, but everything else looks cheap. The lighting and set design are underwhelming. Also, there needs to be some imp fireball action at some point.
 
I dunno...I loved DOOM 1 and 2 (D3 was awesome in a different way...) and when I played those games I thought it would make for an interesting movie, just because of the atmosphere and such (again D3 had a totally different atmosphere to it).

It seems like an Alien ripoff, but obviously it won't even compare to Alien. From what I've read, there won't be any cool weapons (no plasma rifles, yeah a BFG but that's obviously gonna be a lame tie in). There doesn't seem to be Cacodemons, or dogs or cyberdemons.

The reason why I'm not terribly dissappointed is because I don't know what I should be expecting from a DOOM movie anyways. It's not like I read any DOOM novels or anything like that.

But I am a bit dissappointed because the dialogue already seems cheesy, the set and lighting look el cheapo, and it just doesn't look very interesting.

According to the conference at the Comicon there will be a Cyberdemon, but no word on Cacodemons...

Their expressions are just classic.

That looks terrible. Didn't really expect otherwise. I wish we could have seen the first-person segment though but it's not like it matters.

It doesn't look that bad, and calling it worse than Uwe Boll's horseshit is taking it a bit far. :P What are you retards expecting, The Godfather caliber material for a motherfucking Doom film adaptation? :lol This falls right in with my expectations, at least the filmmakers are trying to remain faithful to the questionable original material. :P

Wasn't Doom about a Dimensional gate project in a Space Lab on Mars the same story copied by 80% of shooters since its inception? Whats with this human genome crap? ?
