One of my most frustrating losses yet.

I am the timbersaw. Got ratted to death by Morph. So painful having the whole enemy team dance around me as I couldn't catch anyone. I dived and I still couldn't be killed nor kill anything. I did tons of damage but my team always slowly melted around me. I literally was throwing everything on top of morph as he sat there hitting our racks time after time. Viper as a safe laner is a terrible insurance policy.

I don't give a shit either, I've got very little time to myself these days and don't want to waste it with some cunt trying some shit meme build.

Then abandon. I abandon virtually every game that reeks like a waste of time from min 1. Life's too short honestly. Nerds in this thread will tell you abandoning is literally a crime and should be subject to real life penalty but you are 100% more likely to have fun with Dota if you just ditch the shit games and do as I do.

I had no clue Aghs grabs everything around him. Thought it was like Batrider aghs where it just grabs another person. 3.5K bracket and I hardly see it used.

While it is very strong it's a hard item to fit in any build. Standard build is Bloodstone, Orchid/Bloodthorne, Linkens, Shiva's, Sheep Stick and some sort of boots. There will be games where you also might need BKB or MKB or even a Dagon for whatever reason.
Where will you fit it? Unless you have an Alch to feed it to you there's little room for it.

Your Bushido is weak Pimp San, just like your Christian-Democrat voterbase. You must surrender your delegates to Tomagatchi Ted, the True King of the North Samurai and his daimyo. Only then may you be protected from Mongrolian Migrants.

JA NE WA SHO NO DELEGATARO NO TSUBAKI CONSERVATIVE CHAISHO

not a fan of this but dota needs a concede option

I'm against a concede option too because I enjoy being far ahead. I just abandon games I clearly deem a waste of time (carry going for joke items etc, people throwing on purpose, people not skilling bear on Druid etc.). I think my sense of which games are worthy of playing on and which aren't is pretty on point although since none of these games actually unfold, I'll never find out for certain. Looks like I abandon about every 20th game on average according to Dotabuff. Sounds about right.

I'm not sure who of you guys got 45 min of wasted time to spare but I sure don't.

just get into the spectating lyfe and you can leave when you choose

you get to play actually fun and interesting games, like mobile juggernaut Puzzle and Dragons, while you watch superstars like hylian and whiskeystrike try their best to carry their noob teams.

win-win for everyone (except hylian and whiskeystrike, on occasion)

Honestly I play enough comp of a game to learn the meta / strats / general concepts, and then I spend more time watching pros play than playing myself.

I probably lost my TI6 MMR despite it being like 300 higher than my normal one since I don't think I hit the minimum number of games required to keep the new MMR...

Your team needed an Invoker to initiate with Sunstrike Kappa

In all seriousness, I have had similarly frustrating games. I remember a game a few years ago that was frustrating because the other team was basically "Team Escape" (no relation to Escape Gaming), every single one of them had some kind of escape, be it leap, storm zip, or Tree armor (when it was really strong). Really hard to gank anyone.

1-being under tower or wandering in your jungle (as a support) doesnt mean you are safe, even if all your towers are up. that area is an easy hunting ground for mid players.
2-if there are 4 enemy heroes in your jungle trying to take the tower, then your team should get out from there and pressure the enemy carry lane. even if it cost you the tower.
3- dont tp one by one when 3-4 enemy heroes are diving and killing your teammates.
4- after taking over your enemy jungle dont abandon it, have 1-2 players roaming that area and pushing that lane to force the enemy carries to be scared and limit their farming area.
5- if you are nyx, dont farm a lane when you have ulti up. stay out of sight and scare the enemy. make them think you are always near.
6- if your team wants to defend the jungle then they should move in as 5, not tp 1 by 1 or send 2 supports. that will not work.

He gives good pointers but his the whole video was made because he wanted to bitch about his 'bad' experience smurfing against 4k-5k players (iirc said things i killed this guy mid 4 times because I am better than him yada yada yada). If he is going to smurf and shit on 4k-5k players then he shouldn't bitch about it after.

yeah he said something like casters and people that watch pro games only care skills etc then followed up with what you said.
I see. He made the right decision, but a video without the derogatory stuff on this would be nice to see.

He was smurfing in a lower bracket and complaining that the players weren't as good as him...I don't know what he expected. It's almost as if MMR sorts by skill or something.

How dare you

My stack is precious and valuable to me. I wouldn't trade them for all the mmr in the world.

I'm gonna start playing some League again in the #climbbacktogold if you're game.

How many abandons before you get LPQ? How often does it reset?

I've never abandoned yet, but I would if it was very very clear what will cause LPQ and what won't. Would be nice if I could click "abandon" and then say "Light Grey is cancer, please investigate" sending the game into an Overwatch queue where moderators can see if anything is fishy. If they agree LG is shit, I don't get a penalty.

I think 3-4 times.
