Best tournament episode easily, and I said that about last episode. The Goku part was weird though, but still a cool save by 17.

Just like they kept using that same group shot with Krillin.
Solid episode, not the triumphant return of Gohan I wanted, but it was enough, the universe 10 guy was interesting enough to throw Gohan off for a bit, but not strong enough to push him anywhere near his limit. So hopefully there's more to come with Gohan in that regard.
They definitely got me with the locket, but the actual MOMENT was a bit more drawn out like the first one.

Man it was honestly kind of depressing that the fighter Gohan eliminated had a wife and daughter same as him.
Hit looks like he's going to be pretty much wiped out next episode energy wise. I feel he won't last much longer even if he makes it through next week.

Good episode overall but like a third of it was focused on Android 17 and Goku's pretty irrelevant fights. I just cant buy anything Goku is doing at the moment.
Gohan's stuff was pretty good but I felt like there was no build up in the fights. It's kinda the problem with characters that only exist for those 5-10 mins. I also was kinda expecting Gohan to feel conflicted about ringing out someone but he just got his shit done. Kinda glad about that actually.
Next episode will probably be cool but it's just guaranteed SSG won't be explained past the fact that Goku is faster in that form. Because that definitely wouldn't have helped against Hit in their first fight or in the black arc...

Yeah I'm liking Gohan and 17 a lot now. 17 also seems to be studying fighting styles like Goku but at least he doesn't let his guard down.

And you survived the worse of Super, the pacifier arc.
I liked those episodes too lol. Vegeta's reactions are priceless. Vegeta's character has developed so well, especially his interactions with Bulma.
Also there was one scene where kid Trunks says that if he ever sees Freeza again he will cut him in half. Everyone's reaction to that is so good.
And where to watch the English dub? I am watching on VRV which has funanimation now episodes. I like Japanese voices but would like to check out dub too.

The ending was actually nice to see. Was hoping we'd have a moment like that with Gohan, would've been a missed opportunity otherwise.

Pretty great episode, especially the 2nd half.
Loved the call back to the Hellzone Grenade with A17, and then it's glorious return by Piccolo! And they showed Gohan fighting with his head, playing up that role of tactician. I also felt that the music was particularly well done. Definitely looking forward to see how SSG is handled next episode.

That scene was excellent.
Gohan really didn't get as much focus as you would think from the title, huh? However, it didn't really matter as much to me because the rest of the episode was so solid (and Piccolo got some time in the spotlight).

I really liked the two new tracks this episode, especially the one at the start of Gohan's fight with the U10 dude.
Man, I hope he survives this shit if only so he can put the moves on his whole team.

Edit: I'm actually pretty bummed about U10. They all seemed to be pretty likable at the very least.
