I think starting at young age might be key. That way your fingers and hands grow into mastering it a lot better, especially between age 10 and 20.
I kind of understand now why a lot of Asian parents put their kids into musical classes at a young age.
A lot of shredders practice all day every day.

Not gonna lie, I've been playing for about a year and a half now and really wish I had picked this skill up at a young age instead of wasting it all on video games.

That’s my problem with a lot of power metal. I watch a YouTube video and I’m in awe of their skill, but I don’t actually get much enjoyment from listening to it.
