Dreamworks makes you rich

Dreamworks kicks ass... you know, as long as you ignore Katzenberg and all of the animated crap that he helps put out there. The live-action stuff though is top-notch. I think with those films they've really done a good job with what SKG set out to do, to put control in the hands of the creative minds. Katzenberg's stuff though... ugh. If Pixar didn't exist, Shrek would be the deathknell of quality, timeless animation. I shudder at the thought of Shark's Tale and Father of the Pride, both blatantly spun from the same crap that formed Shrek.

Of course, I own Disney stock and am making off quite nicely from that, so actually, Disney makes me rich, not Dreamworks.

Shrek is a terrible movie. And I was about ready to fuckin' kill someone having to see Shrek all over EVERYTHING after Shrek 2 came out.

Every single Pixar movie is better than Shrek and Shrek 2 in my eyes...I do not find other film terrible, just storyless.

Father of the Pride...Siegfried and Roy=Brilliant, the rest is a crappy sitcom in CGI.

You didn't like Shrek? o_O
No. Both films were messy and inconsistent conglomerations of dated pop cultures references, juvenile gags and completely hypocritical and valueless 'stories'. None of the characters are remotely sympathetic to boot. I was suckered into seeing both on boring nights with friends.

Fortunately, we still have Pixar. Heh, speaking of Pixar, imagine how much Lucas would be worth if he still owned them.
