I know there's an official thread, but here's the sales data:

nintendogs (3 versions)
1,180,000 - Japan
5,000,000 - world wide
first DS million seller

Animal Crossing DS
2,380,000 ordered, 2,170,000 shipped in Japan
will go double platinum

Brain Training
1,800,000 shipped in Japan

Yawaraka Atamajuku
1,180,000 shipped in Japan

Tamagotchi no Puchi Puchi Omisetchi
over 1,000,000 sold in Japan

Mario Kart DS
1,210,000 shipped in Japan
a million seller in both the US and Europe each

More Brain Training
1,540,000 shipped in Japan thanks to commercial with Matsushima Nana

7 million sellers in total. Other data:

Dare Demo Asobi Taizen
510,000 shipped in Japan

Eigo Zuke
570,000 shipped, 920,000 copies ordered in Japan

Sawaru Made in Wario
980,000 shipped in Japan, expected million seller

Super Mario 64 DS
930,000 shipped in Japan, expected million seller

Jump Superstars

NES and SNES era type sales seems back?

They are some pretty impressive numbers! Nice comment on the conference too how the DS is expected to become the fastest console to 10million units in Japan

It's a shame that so many of those aren't good games. And people bash UK taste. :(

Uh, name the bad games.

Cause Nintendogs, AC, Mario Kart, Wario Ware, Mario 64, JSS are good/great.

And people say the Training games are actually very fun.

Nintendogs and Mario Kart are fucking terrible. I know I'm going to get a lot of hate for both of those, but I certainly went into both expecting to really like them, and both disappointed me miserably. Nintendogs was fun for 3 days, and I have never touched it again. Mario Kart was fun for 0 days, and I legitimately tried to get into it on three different occasions. The two tie with Mario 64 DS as the absolute worst and most disappointing experiences I've had with the system. And I, honestly, love the DS. I really do.

So, for the record, I would say Nintendogs, Mario Kart, and Tomagotchi. And though I'm going to give it a shot, I think Brain Training has a good chance to be on the list, too.

You not liking them doesn't make them bad.
Sales, positive reactions and critical perception (reviews) say otherwise.

Now you're just making shit up. I played mario kart 12 hours straight the day it came out and 10 hours the next.

Obviously. The wonder of subjectivity. Just for posterity's sake; the things I'm saying, yeah, those are my opinions! :)

Honestly, I couldn't give less of a fuck what the sales and critical perception says.

Which means I'm making up my opinion? I mean, it's awesome that you've got 22 hours between two days to play a shitty videogame, but that doesn't somehow invalidate my opinion, much less turn it into magical pretend!

You should be called out for this.

animal crossing's sales are so amazing it warms me inside. it's a stunning game and it's great to see it finally getting the sales it deserves and still selling in big amounts. i wonder what final sales wil be?

english training has great orders and it looks like it could be another million seller!

how many new million sellers will ds have in japan this year, there could be many.

I'm really interested to hear what you think is wrong with Kart, cause after 0 days you surely didn't even discover snaking and give up in disgust like I did.

You expect us to respect your opinion, yet you go out of your way to post in a thread and mock the opinons of the 7 million people who have purchased these games... right...

Actually, I did not have the time even though it was a weekend, which posed a slight problem.

Some more numbers in there as well:

Famicom Mini: Super Mario Bros 1.22m
Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon (both versions) 1.41m (so something like 720 for Blue, 690k for Red)

The numbers are massive all round.

Andy needs to learn that a game doesn't 'suck' just because you don't like it. You probably don't like those games because they are not your cup of tea, but how can you even objectively call Mario Kart a bad game?

Great sales numbers, looks like English Training is a guaranteed million seller.
