You know, at this point, even I'm rather envious of some of the games lined up on the DS (ok, really I just lust after Advance Wars, Castlevania 2D and Fire Emblem, but they're killer games!)... but when taking into consideration that it's a handheld, to be lugged around in public, the PSP really wins out over a DS. People will stop by and tell you, damn that PSP is cool... but I really doubt that would be the same for the DS. People won't come up to tell you that's cool, but they'll be thinking, it's dinky... plus it just feels much I'd just feel much more uncomfortable dragging one of those things around in public.
Well, here's hoping they figure out how to get the emus running at fullspeed; when they figure out how to render things in hardware, there might be a good speed boost.

Also, it seems everytime I go to EB they're just trying to persuade me to change to the new hip thing. I've become used to it! Although the one time they tried to talk me out of purchasing Paper Mario I got very annoyed, I admit!

I've seen a few mild conflicts at local stores. I'm glad I've had the experience, but back when they happened, they were a little creepy. I can't imagine what some of these people think about during sex. Though I'm trying. Has anyone had sex while playing a DS or PSP game? If not, is it at least a common fantasy for gamers?

I think its stupid for employees at a store to get into it with customers about stuff... games being good, bad, not liking the console they are on or otherwise. Their job is to run a game over a scanner and swipe my credit card, not tell me how good the game I just got is, how bad it is or how much better it is on another console. Guess what, you work for a store that is selling the product, you shouldnt tell your customer how something else it better than what they are buying.
Back when I first got an Xbox this guy at a gamestop gave me crap for it everytime I got a game. He kept asking me if I enjoyed Halo then laughed about that being the only good game, despite the fact that I had purcahsed about 10 games from them in that time period. I just ignored him, but its really bad customer service to mock them for purchasing something that you are selling.
Imagine if this shit happened anywhere else. 'Dude, you should totally not buy these clothes, express shit looks so much better", "Dude, dont buy from us, Honda makes better cars with better gas milage".. fucking retards.

When I went into EB Games to pick up Meteos, they were raving on and on about how awesome the DS was. One of the guys was trying to con the other into selling him his DS.

Its NOT cool. It can never be cool because its a games console, I wouldn't feel too comfortable showing off my PSP in public. Yeah its impressive, but when you whip out your PSP, the bystanders will STILL be thinking "man that nerd has a nice gadget".
Example - EB whiny teenagers all digging PSP. Not the epitomy of cool is it.

Fanboys online are annoying (though they are unintentionally humorous on occasion). Accidentally listening to fanboys in real life seriously makes me depressed.
