long story short i specifically need the font helvetica. what is odd is that i don't have it, i can't find it for free online, and its the default font at work (but i cant get it right now from work). so, does anyone have it or know where i can get it? thanks friends


p.s. i need the true type font

In a crunch, use Arial. It was designed to basically be Helvetica to the untrained eye, and to some trained ones.

Just use Arial it essentially IS Helvetica.

But I find it very odd you don't have the single most used font.

i tried arial. you are right, to the untrained eye it could pass, but this definently needs to be helvetica (arial wont pass). good idea though

I have a few Helvetica Condensed Fonts in True Type (like 3). If you want em, shoot me a pm.

Once you extract them, it's a few different helvecta font types, all ttf.

They both suck. I know Helvetica is easy to read, but it's just so cliched and passe. There are multitudes of modern sans-serif fonts out there that look much better.

Most of the time the only reason they look better is simply because they are not Helvetica (or Arial).
