I am currently playing dungeon loards now, but I find that it isnt as bad as most sites make it out to be. While there are still some bugs even after upgrading to 1.3, such as not being able to alt-tab*. If you want to get the same feeling you got from playing Wizardy 6, and found it missing in Wizardry 7, this is the game to get. It has all the elements that made 6 awesome. It has a unique lockpicking system, a really nice calss system and some of the more inventive ways to beat side quests.

*while on its own it isnt a problem, but if your pc is plagued by pop ups it will cause the game to crash whenever you get a pop up.

I ran, ran, ran so far away from this game after remember just how BAD Wizards and Warriors was a few years back. I'm all for old-school CRPGs, just man that game left me with a bad taste in my mouth.

I had a preview build months ago, and it was just so horrible...Sucks that they never did fix it.

Bah play Wizardry 8 if you want a modern entry into the hardcore PC RPG Genre, it rocks so much harder then both Dungeon Lords and Wizards & Warriors that it isn't even funny.

Yes, wizards and warriors was ass. I couldn't stand it either. All i remember of that game is that it brings boring to a new level.

I have finished Wizardry 8. And I am actually enjoying this more, though Wiz 8 is technically better, it lacks that element of uniqueness from its predecessors that makes this game a bit more fun.

It honestly has serious potential, but it wasn't even an alpha quality release.
