Cash-in re-release, but the movie is so perfect it's worth it:
Apollo 13 10th Anniversary Edition

This is basically the same as the current release, only it includes the Dolby and DTS on one disc (they were previously separate releases) and includes the shorter IMAX version on disc two.

According to the review at The Digital Bits, this does NOT include a DTS track for the theatrical version, but only for the lame IMAX cut.

I picked up Samurai Champloo at Best Buy this Tuesday?! They must've put it out early. I also saw that Astro Boy box set and ALMOST grabbed it, but I'm reallyl trying to cut back on my DVD purchases.

Yeah I picked up Champloo V2 a few days ago too. The 29th is the official street date, though.

Yeah, I honestly haven't seen it for myself, but I've loved all the movies I've seen from Akira Kurosawa and this one's been on my list for a long time. Reviews are excellent and I haven't regretted buying a Criterion Collection disc yet.
