Maybe... $10 million seems like nothing for a majority stake in a developer with Chunsoft's standing. They might not be pumping out multimillion sellers these days but they're still hugely respected.

I think Dwango's network infastructure must've been appealing on Chunsoft's end as well, otherwise I don't see why they wouldn't prefer aligning with a game company like Nintendo or MGS.
