whats the consensus so far for this game?
The verdict is still out as far as the press is concerned.
From Youtubers/Streamers: The gameplay is challenging and a lot of fun, though there are some bugs (less than you'd expect from a Techland game). Movement is the main selling point, and it feels fantastic. The focus on evasion over direct combat is something a lot of streamers seem to appreciate, it's definitely more exciting to outmaneuver foes than to mindlessly hack away at them one by one.
The story and characters are generic and pretty throwaway (one wonders why they took out character selection/creation in favor of another "Troy Baker as Troy Baker" main character), but narrative doesn't actively impede the gameplay after the tutorial.
Graphics seem to be impressing a lot of streamers, and performance seems totally stable. Granted, most of these guys have pretty beefy rigs.
Overall, I haven't seen anyone actively talk crap about this game while playing it, which bodes pretty well. The main complaints seem to be the story and the occasional glitches, neither of which seem like dealbreakers.
