Koei's TGS 2005 Line-Up

Everyone want's online Dynasty Warriors. Whoops, I just spoiled the full story.

On the 16th September, the TGS takes place. As usual Nintendo aren't set to show there except for the fact Iwata is making a speech.

Anyway, onto the news you wanted to hear. Koei will be showing Dynasty Warriors DS, with fully online Wi-Fi mode. And that's not all, Romance of the Three Kingdoms DS will also be shown, but online is neither confirmed nor unconfirmed.

Ah, that might explain why it was delayed (wasn't it supposed to be a spring release?).

This might be a big holiday title for DS in Japan.

I'm interested in what the Namco RPG is. Are there going to be online modes in Baten Kaitos and Xenosaga? How about a Tales game with online multiplayer? (God that would rule). Or maybe a new series?

Yeah, apparently they're making another HM that uses online. Dunno how. Maybe it'll be a more Animal Crossing-esque HM?

What is Dynasty Warriors DS like? I hear it may be more of a strategy style game than the hack and slash we are used too.

This bodes well for the possibility for DW5 Special Edition Xbox 360 being online.

I hope the online structure for DS works well, most those games sound spectular.

Edited to add this thought: I hope these online games work so well that it'll be considered standard for future multiplayer DS games to be online.

OT Edit: I just dropped my DS on to the hard wood floor. for a second I was worried because it looked like the top fell off, but it just closed itself. Everything is a-ok!
