Dynasty Warriors: Origins demo is live

Okay, so typically i play DW like brainrot but this game actually takes skill and im down for it.

its wayyyy wayy better than the last ones except the combat interruptions are a bit excessive trying to showcase key points of the battle, thats prob my only complaint
You can adjust those interruptions in setting.

I will try the demo soon, but really disappointed there is no co-op? Like what the hell? It's a series staple. Not even online co-op?

I hope they have co-op. That would be silly not to have, I bet a lot of people played this game during the PS2 era and would play split screen with a friend. In my case I played the game with my brother.

Yeah man, I remember DW3 on PS2 playing hours and hours with my cousin. Legendary weapons, all that good stuff. Even went for the Xtreme Legends after that cuz the game was just damn good. 4 was bit of a let down, though it lead to Empires which was cool.

Hell even Hyrule Warriors has co-op. I don't care about this 120 FPS bullshit. I played @ 15 FPS when it was on PS2, lord knows the slowdown. Give me co-op Koei.

Just completed the demo and wow - I failed a bunch of times! I'm a Musou veteran and found it really challenging, which is a good sign as the previous titles have perhaps been overly easy. Lu Bu is now the terrifying force of nature that he's always been made out to be.

Everything from previous Musou games seems to have been improved and I'm really looking forward to ploughing through the campaign (and thousands of fodder-like fools) in the full game release.

Pretty good scores considering that last 4 games in the series scored at 60s or lower, highest rated game in the series too.

"Overall, Dynasty Warriors Origins is a big, explosive, and massively entertaining action game, and true to its title, a conscious effort by Koei Tecmo to get back to the qualities that so many people have enjoyed from the series over the years"

I'm sold already but good to see it reviewing well, as critics have usually been a bit snooty and aloof about the series.
