Started wonderfully with an exceptional, if short-lived Halo 4 demo and then quickly descended into pure mediocrity.
Splinter Cell was barely recognisable, Forza Horizon looked interesting but we weren't given nearly enough, waaaaaay too much Kinect connectivity stuff and yet barely any actual Kinect games, a random and drawn-out performance from Usher who clearly isn't used to performing in the morning, Resident Evil was severely underwhelming, Fable continues to look shit, Tomb Raider is a scream/qte/accident fest and the Black Ops 2 demo (as much as I enjoy CoD) was too long and not the best note to leave on. Not to mention Nike.
What was most disturbing though was how it just felt like a confirmation that gaming is heading too much in the cinematic direction.
In the end I just wanted more Halo Prime. Oh, and South Park.
