exactly we need leaked pics!!!

it happens every year so why shouldnt it happen this year?
construction workers that are reading this, please take photos and post them online:)

oh and one more thing!

does anyone have that E3 nintendo page that Nintendo post pics and info about the games they have on Show fot the press people to use?

please PM me the link and the password:)

The booths don't get really set up until Tuesday, if last year is any guide. The banners and such outside the halls themselves may already be up, however.

I still remember when part of the Snake Eater trailer was leaked a few days before E3 2003, good times.

wasnt it a week before or something like that?
we are only 2 days away from E3 and nothing has leaked!

thanks to M$

Nintendo and Sony must have armed ninjas all over L.A. by now
sticking poisoned darts onto the necks of every nerd with a camera

Remember last year when someone got photos early and people were dissecting them like they were photos of a UFO or something? :lol

I hear some media outlets might get exhibitor badges on the QT and enter the show early and take videos, then post them on their sites, all the time laughing at the bigger sites who are there as exhibitors but under strict embargo. If that were to happen (and it might, fingers crossed) what would you be looking to see?

Well, they all post pre-show pics anyway, don't they? All the big online sites are exhibitors, so they have exhibitor badges.

If it's like last year, there won't be a great deal to see in terms of game revelations on Tuesday. It's just kind of neat to see all the construction.

I'd like to see pictures of you, urinating all over EA's stand.
Or masturbating in Sega's...
Or stealing a new Game Boy...

I want to see security guards with truncheons laying in to "journalists" who feel the need to get some imaginary scoop by filming the construction of booths two days before the show begins.

How boorish can you get? Also, what's next: Mugging PR people for the press disks?

I tried to get some early booth shots back in '02. I was with three other editors at my site and we were just walking around the LACC taking pictures and looking through the glass doors into some of the halls.

About 20 mins into the thing, we start to notice a lot of radio clicks going off and 3-4 security guys start walking down the hall. Then we heard, "Yeah -- they're here, we got them". Then this big, bald security guard came up behind us and said it would probably be a good idea if we left. So we did.

/end pointless story

the MGS3 E32k3 leak was not a 'leak' so much as Kojima wanting to build up hype...as if the counter wasnt enough to get us mgs fanboys in a tizzy, we needed a low quality trailer.

I just got home from the Convention Center. The booths are still being put up. I got a look at West Hall, seems like most of the booths at the front are done, they're doing lighting and stuff. I didn't get a good look at Concorse.

Nobody ever finishes their booth setup until the night before opening day. There's usually more than a few people still working on setup into the wee hours of the morning on E3's first day.

My Wife works for the Company that sets up the booths for Hardware & Software Companys that are going to be @ E3. Thats how I am getting to go to it. They started to setup early last week, with a Army of workers. They wil be done by this coming Monday, with maybe just a few touch ups here and there. Of course the Booths are already done for the opening press confernces that start on Monday. From what I understand they did the ones first, that started the earliest with the Press Conferences. After GES is done with their part, the Companys that are going to be at E3 puts in their own finishing touches. Can't wait to go. Afterwards, I am going to try and get some of left over graphics :D

Next week is gonna be a Blast!

Obviously someone who has never been to E3 and has no idea what goes on there.

The press conferences happen off site, far away from the convention center, and the "big three" booths have nothing to do with the conferences at all.

Booth construction continues up until the moment the doors open on the first day. If you have an exhibitor badge and you go in before the doors open on the first day you'll still be dodging forklifts and construction materials.

Booth construction is never, ever, done the Monday before the show starts partially due to the idiots who scam exhibitor badges and set up & tear down pins/wristbands to sneak in and get a scoop for their little geocities site. Hell, many big companies keep things hidden until right before the doors open to prevent as many leaks as possible.

I have been to E3 several times... I am just stating what I have heard thru the grapevine. Duh.. about the press conferences being off site, and Duh about the Companys working on their Booths up until the Doors open. Take it for what you will... you Obviously read between the lines... and I don't give a crap what u think. This is why don't post as often as I would like. You make a comments about something and you get a response from a Hypocrite. Have u ever worked in the Gaming industry?

Silly rabbit. He was just pointing out that you were wrong. That doesn't make him a hypocrite.

It was in the morning of E3 I think. Alot of people thought it was faked even though it was far too elaborate to be faked.

Have you guys seen the trailer for this game? It has to be seen... probably the worst game trailer in video gaming history.

Nothing will beat the Gamecube unveiling whenever-the-hell it was. Seeing pics of the booth, people discussing what the logo was. I think the GBA was unveiled too.

What about Star fox? I remember that E3 being particularly hectic...leaked videos, pics of other GC games....whew... Actually, it's gonna be teh same thing this time around....oh sweet....hope I don't get hit by a car or something this week. Worst week to be maimed.
