Damn earthquakes suck. Was in a 8.0 some 10 years ago and it was not fun.

Hopefully there weren't a lot of deaths (linked article says just 1 so far)

Stay safe Mexico gaf!

All good here. I was at work and one of my supervisors wrote, "earthquake, boss." I looked up and the fixtures were moving all over. It felt like standing on a floating dock. No damage here in Puebla City but those in the Sourthern Pacific had outages and some substancial damage. I agree, Earthquakes don't have a date but coincidentally we seem to have them more frequently in September. The worst I was in was that biggie in September 2017. A saw the upper part of a building collapse and the debris bury some cars.

In fact, I also witnessed it in 2017, I was finishing a medical consultation and fortunately there were no injuries, but that day there was no light in the city.

I don't consider the dates to be relevant, tectonic plates don't have special days they choose to rub up on each other

Its amazing how people´s brain choose to ignore most of the years that an earthquake didn´t happen on september the 19th and also all those hundreds of earthquakes that took place in different dates.

People need to find patterns in the chaos, even when there aren’t any.
