EA's NFL Head Coach?

Anyone heard much about this other than the tiny snippets on IGN and other places? Who's planning to get it and in what format?

I'm presuming it's a multiplayer sort of game where you can create leagues and such... I'd much rather have people to play against than just an AI opponent. I'm thinking the PC version will probably be best, but even though it's the right sort of environment, I guess you never know what EA will do.

Did someone insinuate that an EA game would be deep.

I mean seriously people ...

Madden NFL's franchise mode is the holy grail of sports game franchise modes. Ba'lee dat!

Madden's Franchise mode is really the only reason I still play the game. I didn't even know about this game until I saw this thread, and it's definitely something I'd be interested in.

I've been looking forward to this since it was announced. I'm the type of football nerd that sits and has 15 years worth of NCAA draft classes and does nothing but simulate games in my Madden franchise, imposing rules on myself to make dealings more realistic.

Front Office Football is a really good football management simulator. (it's at www.solecismic.com). But I don't think it does a great job of going beyond the front office, so I'm interested to see what EA does with this game. If it's just a manager game, I'll be a bit disappointed, but by the name, I hope there will be game planning and that sort of thing involved..
