We were 9 and 7 at the time so the clerk said we could return it and get a different game if we didnt understand the controls. We got home, beat it in a few hours and then went back to get another game.

The numbers of continues you use is recorded along with your score. The real challenge is bringing that number down to 0 instead of reaching the end with 40 credits.Skullkid said:I got Metal Slug X (PS1) recently just for fun (my first Metal Slug game). I got to level 3 or 4 before I realized that I had unlimited continues, so I just finished it without caring whether or not I died. Oh well. Fun and easy couple of hours, though.
I would agree with this after the game "clicked" for me, but for the first few missions that game owned me. For some reason I just couldn't get it down...the devil boss at the end of Mission Four kicked my ass like 17 times. Then, sporadically, I loaded my file yet again, fought my way up to him, beat him easily, and never died again.Waychel said:Also, the first Devil May Cry game.
