Normally, I roll my eyes when somebody makes a separate review thread for a particular youtuber or media outlet, personally I think it's a bit unfair, there are plenty of gaffers for example who review stuff here so what makes one worthy of a separate thread and yet not the other; especially when there is a review aggregate thread already in existence.

However, for this one particular time I hope people see that it's okay to post this up. Many people enjoyed GT's reviews, and they are back as EasyAllies and this is their first review back. I will not be making separate review threads for them after this and I hope the moderators are okay with this.

I loved GT and am a backer on EA. That being said with at least 3 separate threads dedicated to GT closing down or EA starting up this thread is totally unnecessary.

I disagree. I likely would not have seen this review without the thread. I think a one off for the first review is fine and the OP clearly had a measured mindset when submitting this one.

Edit: For the review itself, I love how GT reviews spend a decent bit of time summarizing the games and explaining the systems in addition to critique. Helped to sell me on the game a bit.

I really missed the GT reviews, I don't care very much about the review scores but always enjoyed the breakdown of every game. I was surprised by the lack of decent video reviews on youtube. Either they were a 20 minute gameplay / rant or just a 'watch my face as I play the game' thing.

most youtube video reviews are just streams of the game with very little insight about the game; when EZA do their game reviews, game mechanics, story, faults, quirks, music are summarized professionally; editing and cuts are top notch.

I stop watching game reviews when GT when under and only go to GAF and gamespot for my reviews fix

Great review, GT's review with Brandon as a reader has always felt so professionally done. Good to see them back at work. I don't think I'm going to pick it up at launch, but it's definitely something I'm going to pick up down the road.
