yeah they have all the same date, so i guess that EB just wants to get a early start on PS3 preorders.

god i hope that PS3 is not released in Japan first, but i guess its obviouse that it will. i do not want to wait for the US release like i did on the PS2.

People over at GTP seem to think it'll become the GT Online that Kaz was talking about and Sony will launch it with the PS3. I really doubt it though.

We'll probably get a Gran Turismo 4: World Vision about 8-12 months after the PS3 launches, with about 200-300 cars but the possibility to download more and full online functionality. Damage models implemented.

If its still GT4 in concept, I wouldn't expect any damage modeling, those cars will have to be redone for that to work correctly. The rest of the stuff you mentioned is possible also. It'd give Kaz a leg up on building the GT online community that he's talked about.

It'll be nice public beta test for your online stuff that you can use to tune GT5.
