Great price for XMen Legends, and I was only waiting for the Xbox 3 expansion to drop to $20 before picking that up. Thanks for the update.

Unreal Tournament 2? (maybe a typo for Unreal Championship 2?)

Oh and i'm guessing these don't apply to Canada?

Poor Kojima. Poor GAF :(

Wait a minute-isn't Konami re releasing this game with a 3rd person camera? And you wonder why this game doesn't sell like it should. Some people are getting tired of this shit.

Too bad EB doesn't let you take a GBA or DS game of your choice with the DS system purchase. I'd rather take the new Fire Emblem GBA game over Mario 64 DS.

This may be a stupid question, but I was wondering if these sale prices would be honored at Gamestops now too?

no

even thought gamestop bought them out or whatever, still consider them as 2 different stores. btw, gamestop is doing buy 2 used games, get 1 free deal during the week of june 10. some of this deals are universal price drops though, or soon to be price drops

Ah, thanks for the clarification.

The DS is very tempting, but Super Mario 64 DS isn't a game I really want. I might keep waiting for a price drop and then get games I actually want to play.

Is there anywhere that tells how much credit you can get for certain games? I'd consider trading games in to help me purchase a DS with Mario 64.

I once vowed never to trade in games again because of this. But I don't know, the games I was going to trade are pretty much worth jack shit. The Hobbit, Midway Arcade Treasures, Ty the Tasmanian Tiger and Worms Blast (all on GameCube).

They do have good trade-in deals I will agree.

I traded in various garbage from the TRU sale / CC sale to get Burnout 3 for ~$20 (3 titles = $30 off)

I then traded Burnout 3 for a copy of Valkyrie Profile here on GAF

HA HA HA

I guess I could get Spider-Man 2 for $14.99, sounds like a pretty good deal. That's about it...

Someone asked if this would be valid at Gamestop. I figured I would clarify the situation. As it stands the deal has not gone through yet, and will not until September of '05. At that time the deal will be finalized and the two companies will meet and decide what to keep and what to toss out as there are a lot of things that needs to be worked out such as pay, employee benefits as well as opertaing system for the computers and store credits. The actual merger -- when the companies will form one brand -- will not happend until after the holiday season.

So a long answer to "Are these deals valid at Gamestop."

Which versions of Spiderman 2 and Xmen Legends are considered the best?

The Xbox version of Spider-Man 2 has some extra content. X-Men Legends is pretty much the same on all platforms, I think.

x-men is also better on Xbox because it loads a little faster and the graphics are a tiny bit better. i have never played the gamecube version though, so it might be the same as the xbox version
