The Gitaroo-man sequel must be revenge for the Ebayers who made a killing off of their "flop" by plucking it out of bargain bins for $10 and reselling it for $100+. I welcome any such move, but I say that only because I haven't been expensively caught out yet. Hopefully when Every Extend Extra comes out the price for Rez will go up again...

It's not a really complicated story, I don't think. EA seemed to have its sights on releasing SCIII for all three systems, just like SCII. However, Sony came in and purchased worldwide distribution rights for what is apparently a much higher price so that it's exclusive. And that's the same reason you won't see Soul Calibur III on any non-Sony system (except perhaps PSP).

So for emphasis: Soul Calibur 4? Possible. Soul Calibur: Very cool Soul Edge edition? Sure. But SCIII:Special Edition, SCIII, Soul Calibur III:360 Is Awesome, SCIII: Rev Controller Swingin' Edition? No.

Many people have mentioned in this thread that they'd like to see Kojima working on Kid Icarus based on the EGM rumor...
One notable person NOT in this thread - Denis Dyack - has been quoted as saying that next to Metal Gear, Kid Icarus would be his dream game to work on.

Now... Dyack is known for dropping subtle hints during interviews about future developments (ie: comments concerning MGS WAY prior to official announcement of MGS TS).

I know I'm reaching, but I wouldn't be surprised if the reason Dyack mentioned Kid Icarus was because Kojima had been talking about wanting to do it.

If the rumors are true and Kojima is truly making a Nintendo classic for the Revolution - my guess is Kid Icarus... or possibly Mario Bros (considering his affinity for mushrooms).
Either way, regardless if the rumor is true - it would seem that Kojima is most definitely in development with some sort of game for the Revolution - and that kicks major ass!
